A woman said to be a widow living in the Estate axis of Warri, Delta State, was seen lamenting over the festive period, at an annual occasion organized by a reputable figure in that area, mainly for making the festive periods joyful for widows living in that axis and around..

According to reports, he gifts over 500 full bags of rice to the widows as his way of making them enjoy the festive periods as everyone else. On that particular day, this said widow came with a bag containing several different clothes which she hid somewhere close to the venue, with which she intends using to collect several bags of rice, she will later use for business.

Unfortunately for her, it didn't get to her turn when she returned to the venue to collect the second bag of rice, before the quantity of rice brought to the venue got exhausted. While people around her were consoling her, a woman she quarreled with at the venue over her coming back to que for another bag, while going home with her own bag of rice, noticed her and made people around know it was her greed that put her in that situation. If she had gone home with the bag of rice given to her and left others to collect the remaining ones, she wouldn't have lost her bag of rice.
